Hawaii High School Mock Trial Program

Description

Volunteer attorneys coach high school mock trial teams as they prepare to take a case from start to finish. The program culminates in mock trial competitions between schools and a State Championship at the Hawaii Supreme Court. The champions are eligible to compete in the National High School Mock Trial Championships in Athens, GA on May 16-18, 2019 .

Results From the 2019 High School Mock Trial Competition

Congratulations to all the teams that participated in this year’s Hawaii State Mock Trial Competition. The Young Lawyers Division of the Hawaii State Bar Association is pleased to announce that Moanalua High School’s Blue team is the winner of the 2019 Hawaii State Mock Trial Competition. Four teams, including Island School and Pearl City High School’s White team competed in the semi-finals and finals on Saturday, March 9. 2019 at the Hawaii Supreme Court. The final match between Moanalua High School’s Blue and Silver teams was presided over by Chief Justice Mark E. Recktenwald.
